About Me

Hi, I'm Holly, the teacher behind Mini Melodies. I've been playing piano for 17 years, and I'm currently working towards my Dip-ARSM diploma in piano performance.

My favourite modern pieces to play are anything by RIOPY, and for classical, I love Chopin's nocturnes and Bach's preludes, even if they cause more stress than enjoyment!

My goal for lessons is to give students the structure and progress of exams, while keeping things fun and engaging, encouraging the pop songs they love alongside their own natural skill for improvising, playing by ear, or writing music.

The Music Room

Piano lessons (group and 1:1) are held in a warm and friendly music room in a converted garage in Bierton, HP22 5DZ. The room consists of a baby upright piano, and 3 digital keyboards.

Small group piano lessons

Small-group piano lessons are a new addition to Mini Melodies! Learning the piano alongside friends in a small group is an effective way to build students' confidence and social skills.

Group lessons can also be a more affordable option to 1:1 piano lessons, while also providing students the opportunity to play cohesively in a group and spend more time composing their own music.

Students will progress through the Suzuki method of piano playing, a method that enables individual growth while remaining in a group!

For now, group sizes will be a maximum of 3 students.
